Who We Are

Who are we kidding? “We” is only one guy:

Mark Koepke.

We love to play with words, whether they’re on the page or in the air.

Our writing has appeared in publications including Outpost and Yukon, North of Ordinary. Our first foray into audio storytelling was a radio series for CBC Yukon’s morning show, which led to other work for local and national broadcast. That initial radio series was eventually rebooted as a podcast—and so began a new chapter.

Today, we are primarily focused on the development of original podcast series. We also co-produce Yukon, North of Ordinary.

Talking Mouths is our production handle for original shows. It was chosen for an obvious reason: our projects are highly dependent on what people have to say. The name is also a tribute to one of America’s greatest rock bands. If not for the prohibitive cost of licensing, their music might be all we’d ever use to score our productions.
